VIDEO. Jeep vs Jeep

We pit a Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk against a Mopar Wrangler in a race across country.

What happens when you pit a Cherokee Trailhawk against a Mopar-ised Wrangler in a race across country?

You get an awful lot of regular readers asking if we’ve gone mental, if you’ve read our recent feature at least…

And it’s affair conclusion. One after all is powered by a 285bhp 3.6-litre Pentasatar V6, is an off-road racing king, and has the necessary additional hardware to reduce anything that stands in its way to a quivering mass of jelly. The other is a more civilised urban addition to Jeep‘s line-up, boasting a 271bhp 3.2-litre V6, much softer leather seats and a fully functional air-conditioning system. How can it possibly be in with a chance?

Take a look for yourself. The result may be closer than you expected…
