Today’s Shot of the Day is this fantastic picture of a custom-built 1954 Sorrell-Manning Special. Also known as the SR-100, this car is the work of Californian fabricator Bob Sorrell, who created numerous custom cars through the 1950s and 60s.

This beautiful machine is based on a Kurtis 500KK and is one of only seven ever created. It’s been superbly captured at dawn, and from a great choice of angle, by John E Adams.
