We’ve stumbled across many an angry Mustang on our travels at crankandpiston. While most have encouraged an “ah!” or two, a raised eyebrow of approval or – in some of the more extreme cases – a need to hide behind the nearest sofa until the monster goes away, we’re not too sure there’s been one quite as ferocious as this Shelby GT500.

Paint as black as the night. Racing stripes and a ripped bonnet hinting at the filling–rattler bolted down underneath. Poised, ahead of the pounce. And steely headlamps surveying its next victim.

Feel the chill down your spine?
