We’re no strangers to Chris Harris and drive at crankandpiston, and yet this latest video – on a historic Porsche 911 rally car no less – began with some rather off the wall conclusions: his regular runner is a Passat; “Belgian = mega”; the advantages of [shiver] diesel-power. One wonders what Ferdinand Porsche would have made of that lot.

Once we’d calmed our nerves though, Chris soon got back to @harrismonkey basics by throwing the Tuthill-prepared Porsche at various parts of the Warwickshire landscape at frankly ridiculous speeds whilst waxing lyrical re. the merits of dog-gearbox ratios, 365hp and the Prodrive rally test facility.

Good to see some things don’t change >>>
