Well as you probably know, Paris-Dakar is not in existence any more as such. It is now the Dakar…Argentina-Chile.
Without boring you to death with copy and wiffle from me here are some simple words from our friends coldtrackdays.com.
After a hard fought battle during stage two of the 2010 Dakar Rally, it appears Volkswagen factory driver Nasser Al-Attiyah has taken the overall lead in the car class. BMW driver and stage one winner, Nani Roma, having crashed late in yesterdays second stage, now sits eighth overall. Carlos Sainz and Stephane Peterhansel took second and third respectively.
The news that really appeals to us is that GCC National Nasser Al-Attiyah is leading the way. History in the making you might say.
