It won’t come as a surprise to many of our faithful readers that the VW Scirocco has scored some big likes with us during both of its Management Fleet tenures. It drives like it looks, and since the outside is gorgeous, there’s not a lot for us to quibble about.

So if looks are all it takes to produce a hot hatch belter, then the new Scirocco GTS will be something to be excited about. A quick look at these ever-so slightly airbrushed pics reveals racing stripes, a GTS badge or two, rocking alloys and a rear wing. Sort of.

Aside from the tinsel on the outside, we also find under the bonnet 2.0 litres and 207 rampaging horses. Not a bad way to celebrate 30 years of the Scirocco range, even if we’re still left in the dark re. performance figures.

How about it then Volkswagen Middle East? Fancy the crankandpiston Management Fleet hattrick…?
