Hard as it is to believe, this year the Ford GT turns ten years old. Somehow an entire decade has rolled past since we were blown out of our chairs by the stunning modern rendition of the Ford legend now running a supercharged V8 packing 650bhp. Few denied the Ford GT was a hell of a way to celebrate the legendary, Le Mans-winning GT40, and it even took the fight to the Nissan GT-R Track Pack.

In 2014 though, the funds in Ford’s birthday kitty are being thrown at the Mustang, the tenth generation of which marks 50 years since the model’s debut. Naturally, we weren’t about to let one of the most memorable Ford sportscars of modern times simply slip into the shadows. And what better way to do so than in typical, tyre-squealing crankandpiston.com fashion.

Even Steve Jobs gives it his seal of approval…
