Land Rover has added the new special edition Ember model to its Range Rover Evoque range.

Based on the current HSE Dynamic trim, the model adds a new Firenze Red roof and Santorini Black paint job, satin black 20-inch alloy wheels, black exhaust surrounds, a black grille and darkened lights. The theme continues inside, where there are black leather seats and gloss black trim, contrasted by red stitching and red carpets.

The new variant comes powered by a 177bhp turbocharged 2.0-litre diesel engine, which is mated to a nine-speed automatic gearbox.

The new model also adds new tech including a new 10.2-inch InControl infotainment system with Touch Pro and InControl Connect, which enables users to sync their car’s system with their smartphone to help pre-plan destinations and offer door-to-door navigation. InControl Connect tech adds wi-fi and projects smartphone apps onto the car’s infotainment screen. Low traction launch technology is also included, which is said to improve the models all-terrain capability.

Priced at $67,982, the Ember edition goes on sale this summer and will be on sale for three months only.
