Jaguar has revised its XE model for 2017, with the addition of a new next-generation infotainment system, all-wheel drive (AWD) and apple watch connectivity.

Jaguar’s next-generation infotainment system InControl Touch Pro is designed around a tablet-style 10.2-inch touchscreen featuring high-quality graphics, navigation that can tell others if you’re running late, a Wi-Fi hotspot for up to eight devices and apps for wearable technology, such as the Apple watch.

The manufacturer has also made available a torque on demand AWD system, which will come exclusively on the 180PS Ingenium diesel variant. Predominantly rear-wheel-drive (RWD), the addition of the AWD system means that torque is only transferred to the front wheels when needed. The AWD system works alongside Adaptive Surface Response (AdSR), which changes the mapping of the powertrain and Dynamic Stability Control system according to the conditions, and All Surface Progress Control which gives the driver greater confidence in challenging road conditions. The AWD system is also available exclusively with the peerless ZF eight-speed automatic transmission.

Our first drive of the Jaguar XE took place earlier this year in Northern Spain, which you can read about HERE. Of course, if you prefer, you could just press click ‘Play’ on the below highlights videos…
