Reaction to the unveiling of the new Land Rover DC100 concept hasn’t exactly been overwhelmingly positive. That’s hardly surprising when you’re trying to replace an icon like the Defender, but a lukewarm public response hasn’t stopped Bryan Joslin from putting together these renderings for Kilometer Magazine.
Bryan’s come up with some interesting variants by adding an extra set of doors, various paint shades and even making a pick-up. Thoughts?
Lest we forget, here’s the original DC100 shot below. We’re intrigued to see what happens next as Land Rover gauges reaction following the car’s unveiling at the Frankfurt Motor Show this month.

I love it, wouldn’t trade the NAS 90 for one, but our 50th Anniversary Defender in the UK might be in trouble if this actually comes to production
This would be a definite contender for being my next serious 4×4. The almost lack of overhang, the stance that suggests air suspension and the implied perfect 100″ wheel base – that adds up to a very serious 4×4 to me.
Dear Land Rover, bring it on!!
