Can you believe it? The day has finally come! Yes, it actually has been 20 years since the first Ferrari was ordered in Beijing.

Yeah, okay. As momentous occasions go, both China and Ferrari have sleeves nicely stuffed with aces. Plus, let’s be honest, the Scuderia’s first-ever brand exhibition/museum outside Maranello will get a “huh, well how about that” here and there, but probably won’t stop any presses. These teaser pics might get a few of you going though.

To commemorate the, ahem, historic milestone, Ferrari have introduced a 20-strong range of special edition ‘longma’ 458s. There’s plenty of room for a few more Italias to roam the streets.

We’re not too sure where you guys stand on gold rims, a start button in Chinese symbols, and an exclusive ‘Marco Polo Red’ paint finish. Still, a prancing horse being straddled by an oriental dragon? That had crankandpiston written all over it! >>>
