A special concours condition McLaren F1 has gone on sale – we know, you’re checking your wallets right now!

Just 64 road-going examples of the model were built between 1993 and 1998 and McLaren is offering one of the last ever and finest examples of the highly-regarded model for sale.

McLaren F1 chassis #069 is in factory condition, having covered less than 2,800 miles since new. It’s exterior is Carbon Black and features 17-inch centre-locking magnesium wheels. The central driving seat is finished in black and contrasting red leather, with the dual passenger seats upholstered in Alcantara.

The McLaren F1 is one of the most iconic supercars ever built and it was built in the UK. It was designed by world-renowned car designer Gordon Murray, alongside Peter Stevens. It was the first ever road-going car to feature a full carbon-fibre chassis monocoque. The famous model was also the holder of the world record for being the fastest ever production car until it was ‘overtaken’ in 2005 by the Bugatti Veyron.
