Take a copious amount of carbon fibre, add a manual gearbox, throw in a couple of muscular wheel arches, add a dash of Polish elegance and leave to bake for a just over 12 months. What you should then have is Arrinera Automotive’s first supercar.
Chances are Arrinera will be new to a few of you. It may interest you to know though that Lee Noble – yep of Noble Cars/M15/M600 fame – is a shareholder on the Polish project, and responsible for technical aspects on the new car.
Even though these are the first official teaser images of Arrinera’s final design, this is not the first we have seen of what the company simply calls ‘the car’. You may remember the chaps at Lazniak spent some time with the supercar not too long ago, while the prototype made its debut before company directors just over a year ago.
As such, a couple of details have already slipped through the net. The 6.2l V8 powering the car – which itself weighs just 1300kg – will produce 650hp meaning, from standstill, the Arrinera will hit 100kph in 3.2s, 200kph in 14.3s and power on to a top speed of 340kph. All for a paltry $160,060.
If you’re keen to see how your recipe compares to the picture on the box then you won’t be waiting long, with a full unveil due next week.
