Toyota Motor Corporation has recently unveiled a new gadget to 86 owners who wanna see how they have performed on-track, but through the ultimate driving simulator, Gran Turismo.

The Sports Drive Logger can be installed onto your Toyota 86 and records data on how your car is being driven; throttle control; braking; GPS location; vehicle and engine speed; steering angle; and gear shifting. Said info is translated into gameplay that can be replayed using a USB stick connected to your Playstation PS3. For all Sony console owners out there, that’s a pretty cool way to spend an evening.

So far, the initially supported racing circuits are the Fuji Speedway International Racing Course, the Tsukuba Circuit 2000 Course, and the Suzuka Circuit International Racing Course, with additional circuits planned for the future.

This gadget should be released to Toyota 86 owners on June 1st for the approximate price of $900.
