For the minority out there that don’t know Need for Speed, let me explain quickly.  NFS stands as the most successful racing video game series in the world, supassing even the likes of seemingly mighty Gran Turismo.  According to wiki, as of October 2009, Electronic Arts sold over 100 million copies of games in the Need for Speed series.  So pretty mega you will agree and as you can see from the image above we are more that a touch excited that we are featured in the latest game to be released in the ever growing franchise.  A big thanks must go out to the Electronic Arts crew and the team at Speedhunters for making this happen for us…

The trailer for Need For Speed Shift 2 Unleashed dropped a month or so back, highlighting to world that the game is designed to be the most realistic racing game around.  Featuring Time Attack, Formula Drift, GT3 and GT1 racing alongside some more grassroots machinery. However what’s more interesting for us is that our favourite weekend haunt, the Dubai Autodrome, is included in the game.

The choice of cars available to drive in the game covers an extremely wide gamut from Aston Martins and Bentley, Fords and Dodges, Gumperts and Koenigseggs, Maseratis and Porsches to Nissan and Toyotas – there should be something for everybody’s tastes.
