It’s not often that a small yet devoted company gets the chance to work with a corporate giant. Let alone two.

But that’s just what happened when Jonathan Ward, CEO and Founder of Icon, was asked by Ford to create a singular Icon Bronco for the contemporary era. Having already grabbed Nike’s attention on a previous project, it wasn’t long before their support was garnered and work began in earnest.

Of course, recreating a classic is never easy. The boundaries between ‘redefining’ and ‘ruining’ are painfully thin, and in its thirty year life cycle, the original Ford Bronco picked up its fair share of devotees.

Still, Jonathan knew his long-standing enthusiasm for classic American cars gave him an advantage. Too true, as you can see.
