We’re all a bit knackered at crankandpiston this week:

We finally got our hands on the new 45th Anniversary Chevrolet Camaro SS and, through various means, the Shelby GT500 Mustang. We followed the design of the Pagani Huayra and McLaren F1, and figured we’d give it a go with Bentley’s new EXP 9 F. The Ferrari 308 GTS Quattrovalvole stole our hearts, Chevy Knights knocked us bandy, and it’ll be a while before we forget the Bentley Continental GT V8.

It’s been a long, cold, Formula One-less winter, but enthusiasts finally got their fix when the 2012 season kicked off. This didn’t mean we forgot about the World Rally Championship or the Sebring 12Hrs though. The green flag will drop for Jaguar Heritage Racing in 2012, and don’t forget the Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge is coming up too. Our man on the ground in Sebring brought us the Nissan DeltaWing racer, while closer to home, we threw the Ferrari California around the Yas Marina Circuit, Allan McNish’s words of wisdom still ringing in our ears.

We contemplated being a visitor at DK Engineering’s open day. Peering behind the scenes at a McLaren MP4-12C shoot made us giggle, and the Jaguar XJ Speed Form has made us yearn. The Ascari Race Resort garage made us jealous.

We’ve welcomed a new addition to the Management Fleet, brought you stunning high res images with Shots Of The Day, wowed astonished and baffled you with Visions and even had time to throw in a Gallery or two.

See. Knackering!
