Sometimes we just can’t help ourselves. Certain posts, once live for the crankandpiston massive to see, make us feel a little nostalgic. So we’ve dusted off some of our unseen shots for a quick trip down memory lane. Granted some memories are older than others.

We couldn’t quite believe our eyes when we stumbled across this Chevrolet Corvette C1 currently on display at the IBN MANSI showroom in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. It reminded us of the first glimpse we had of the Pontiac GTO that could complete a standing quarter mile in just 9.8s.

We took our Chevrolet Camaro SS out into the real world for it’s next test. Wasn’t too long ago that we spent some time with its Special Edition younger brother.

As the mercury rises, the 2011/2012 Middle East motorsport calendar begins to draw to a close. Here’s hoping the four-wheeled delights that wow-ed us in UAE National Racing this season will do so again next season.

The International motorsport scene meanwhile is really hotting up, and this year’s 12 Hours of Sebring gave our man on the ground – Mr Camden Thrasher – some truly memorable moments.

A new member of the Management Fleet has joined our happy circus. As we rolled out the red carpet for the Lexus CT200h, we couldn’t help but take a look back at the departed Nissan Juke.

Osamah Beig kindly brought us news of a FAB-design Porsche Panamera at the Your Car showroom in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Tim Ansell did us a similar favour when he wrote about his experience with the new Porsche Boxster in Côte D’Azur.
