If I was to ask you which manufacturer last year broke the Ice Speed record, who would your guess go to? Ferrari? BMW? Mercedes? Porsche?

Nope. Bentley.

Yep, in February 2011 a Bentley Continental Supersports Convertible, with Finnish rally legend Juha Kankkunen behind the wheel, broke the existing 320kph marker by powering to 330kph across a frozen stretch of the Baltic Sea.

And it was only a matter of time before a celebratory limited edition watch landed on the market. And this, the Breitling for Bentley Ice Speed Record watch, is a pretty handsome tribute, I’m sure you’ll agree.

As well the ‘ISR‘ moniker on the back, customary automotive influences include the carbon fibre dial and a lightweight titanium case. Only 100 will be produced, each available for a princely $298,636.

Before you begin choking on your cereal, I should probably mention at this point that this comes with a limited edition Ice Speed Record Supersports Convertible Bentley for no extra cost.
