We’re big fans of creativity here at c&p.com, so when we stumbled across this awesome short clip of Taras Lesko (thanks to Ralf Becker), we just had to share it with you. Taras is the man behind this awesome creation (watch the video for the making) and created it on behalf of Audi America. The brief according to Taras was to create a scale papercraft replica of the 2012 Audi A7 to be used alongside their announcement of the car at the 2011 New York Auto Show.

The stunning creation consists of 750 unique parts using 285 sheets of paper, all designed and assembled by Taras himself, using reference photography and the original A7 blueprints from Germany. All in it took 245 hours of creativity and as you can imagine, blew the crowds in New York and the Audi management away >>>

For Phil it's all about the car, the quality of content and the story. Having experienced life on both sides of the automotive business, the unbridled urge to set up his own unique motoring website led to crankandpiston.com being founded in his spare room. The rest as they say is history.
