The latest issue of EVO Middle East is out now, and features a Middle East showdown between the BMW 1 Series M Coupe and Porsche Cayman R.

Not enough horsepower for you? Well, they also took two very different V10-powered convertibles – the Audi R8 V10 Spyder and the Lamborghini Gallardo Performante Spyder – and went for a thrash through the desert.

As if that wasn’t enough, the team samples all of Ferrari’s V8-powered sports cars from the 308 to the 458 Italia.

Oh, and there’s the small matter of a drive in the lighter, more powerful and considerably more expensive supercar from Lexus – the LFA Nurburgring Edition.
