I haven’t driven the Subaru much this month as it has been with AutoHaus receiving new KW clubsport, some brand new wheels and a full paint job. The outcome is starting to look pretty amazing.

Whilst in Germany I got in touch with KW, the idea being  so that I could take the suspension back to the Middle East. The suspension is not a stock item with KW, and instead being made to order. This normally takes 10-15 working days but with the help of a local dealer, it was ready in three. But let me tell you, it is not a good idea taking made-to-order suspension as extra baggage on an Emirates flight: I had to dish out 600 EUR for excess luggage.

The suspension was installed and setup, and Tibor – from AutoHaus – took the car for a quick spin around the block, the car as rock solid as he’d expected (though we’ll have to soften the suspension a bit, since I don’t fancy landing myself in hospital with back pain). With all the little tweaks made to the suspension, we moved onto the wheels. These already looked amazing in white, but mounted on the car, they’ve just made the Subaru appear so much classier. The stance is perfect, but with 20in wheels, we need to revise the bodywork around the wheel arches to get the full effect. This will be done over the next week or so as I am off again to Australia for my best friend’s wedding.
