After 17 hours in the car, 3 hours of that on tricky dirt roads, we somehow made it back home after the epic trip from the salt flats of Lake Gairdner in South Australia.

I still have the best part part of 1000 photos to go through, but here are a couple that were right at the end of the trip.

After a few of great days of hard racing, I rounded up a couple of the coolest cars out there for the obligatory sunset shots. These photos by no means represent the incredible activity and buzz of this truly spectacular occasion, but they stick out in my memory as a fitting end to a memorable trip.
