A knew addition to crankandpiston.com comes to us in the mould of Sport Bike Racing. I shot these pictures of the truly superb grid of bikers during the weekend of the last round of the year.

Scott Smart put on a real master class on the day...It would be great to see him out here again next season...Jim, get to work...
The 'Flying Scotsman' Boyts had a couple of epic battles to round off a good season for the Vendetta boys...
The other half of the Vendetta team - Mahmoud Tannir, One of the best pit areas with some of the nicest people in the paddock...Well done to the whole team...

On two wheels...Most of the season that is !
It's not that I have any kind of thing for hot sweaty men in leathers or anything but...If that's what it takes then hey, does that make it wrong to take pictures of them???
This seasons racing was 'full on and in yer face' with the big boys (1000cc) playing alongside their half sized brothers...It sure was an interesting and eventful season...
Full marks out of 10 to our newly crowned champs, the big boys toys was won by the narrowest of margins by the Indian flyer, Juzar 'George' Motiwala after a season long battle with the Fat & Furious Racing team head honcho - Papa Rod Scott - who's luck finally ran out on the last day when he landed on his head in race one and was unable to take further part in the proceedings...Some say it knocked a bit of sense into his hardened Granite like 'Hid' others know the truth !
With the 'Swiss Cheese' Pascal 'Gros-Gros' Grosjean missing out the final round as he had already secured his crown at the previous round, preffering instead the cooler climbs of Europe to the 'Sand pit' who can blame him?
Hussain Khooeji the Dubai based Bahraini took the season in his stride as he romped away to his class title with the chasing pack some way behind - Domination is possibly the right word to be used here but linked to men in leather again....People will begin to talk, I'm sure they will!
